Using my imagination to write is my therapy. From a very young age, I

learned to express myself through words. As I grew older, I realized how

positive words can change situations and make things better.  As a young

author, I want to use my platform to encourage others and to be a light of

positive energy to the world.

My first novel, Jasmine's Journey: A Story of Overcoming Obstacles, addresses how I developed coping skills while dealing with a serious medical condition. In sharing my heartfelt story, my goal is to offer encouragement to others that are facing challenges. I hope to be able to provide this book for free for children that are facing challenges in their lives. 

 

While my first book addresses serious medical issues, my second book will showcase my love for writing silly stories. I am currently writing my second book; Front Porch Holidays: Stories From My Dad. This book will showcase my perspective on my dad's hilarious stories. If you enjoy a good laugh, this book is for you!  I look forward to having it published next year.
